Kapa Kuiki at Hawaiian Mission Houses Hale Kū'ai

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the rich history & preservation of quilts from the Curator of the Hawaiian Mission Houses and to see these historic quilts up close and personal (with gloves, of course!)

This was followed by an exclusive, hands-on workshop with Puamana Crabbe in designing and creating custom appliqué quilts and garments. This blend of tradition, storytelling and style was a memorable event for all.
